Waitītiko from Source to Sea

A film documenting the journey along the course of the stream Waitītiko from it's source at Owairaka to the sea at Meola Reef. Crafted by film-maker Carolyn Sylvester, this film is 34 minutes long and includes input from the communities whose lives are touched by this little awa following it's course through Albert-Eden neighbourhoods. After a very successful opening, Waitītiko has travelled well beyond the borders of Auckland and New Zealand to inspire ideas for the regeneration of local, urban waterways in other parts of the country and world.
