For example, we have funded creative workshops for between $1,000 - $2,000 per event, and also supported larger scale events / art projects with wide community participation, for upto $8,000. We encourage you to contact the Arts Broker to discuss your project and the funding amount you would like to apply for, before putting in an application.

Key priority areas for our FY24-25 projects are:

● Music, theatre and performance-based projects
● Projects led by diverse communities
● Projects that attract wide community participation
● Māori-led projects or those with strong Māori outcomes
● Projects which enliven Albert-Eden town centres

Neighbourhood Arts Funding

Neighbourhood Arts funding comes directly from the Albert-Eden Local Board and opens for applications annually, usually in July. This is announced via our social media channels.

Priority is given to projects which have a strong local community impact. The arts broker is available to discuss your ideas and assist you with your proposed project at any time through the year and encourages you to get in contact early with your proposal and/or idea.

In addition to and outside of direct funding, the arts broker is available to support a wide range of creative projects, through advise and introductions to community facilities, organisations etc. Please do drop us a line and say hello.
