A series of free 90 minute experimental drawing & collage workshops were held in libraries and community spaces around Albert-Eden. Workshops were held for both children as well as adults only sessions. This was led by accomplished local artist Catherine Thomson, who also teaches at the Browne School of Art. Group participants experienced a variety of art making processes and discussed what art can be and why it can be good for one’s well being. Participants received a small art pack to take home at the end of the session to continue their creative journey at home. These sessions proved very popular and were booked out, with very positive feedback to continue having these within the community.
