Poems and Letters in Marathi by Amrita Bhende

Albert-Eden has a strong Indian, Marathi-speaking community involved in creative pursuits. This project invited writers and poets, locals of the area, to share
their work with others. The focus was on work written during the last three years during which people in the immigrant community have not had a chance to travel to see their family overseas. They were part of a video project which shared on social media across the artists’ pages and also on pages such as the Auckland Marathi
Association’s facebook page.
