Rāgas in Bollywood was a celebration of Hindi film songs inspired and influenced by Hindustani classical music. An event, with a mix of live and recorded music, composed and sung by local classically trained singers. The selection of songs showcased the confluence of two distinct musical styles, one traditional, the other popular.  
 
This project was built around Hindustani classical music and its elements that are found in Hindi films (Bollywood) and fusion music (Indian rap). A distinct and experimental community project.
