In the October 2018 school holidays, Māpura is got out of the studio and into the mall! They took up residence at Westfield St Lukes.
Studio artists’ work was on display – plus an opportunity to get stuck in.
From 10am – 1pm from Monday 8th to Friday 12th October, Māpura held “Give it a Go” creative sessions, with children and adults both welcome to have a go. This involved creating and decorating masks with paint, pastel, felt pens, collage and feathers.
Māpura staff were on hand to encourage people, and explain how they go about changing lives through creativity.
