MADE (Mt. Albert Art and Design Exhibition) was an art and design multi-genre event aimed towards encouraging and engaging communities. Mt Albert artists, craft persons, designers and community groups showcased quality creations with an environmental sustainability theme.
The main event day was on Saturday 19 November, at Alberton, with exhibitions, market stalls, and live outdoor art installations that provided the opportunity for everyone to participate with interactive creating.
Alberton’s historical ballroom was transformed into a modern pop-up art and design gallery, which additionally remained open from 23 to 25 November. Works included everything from bespoke furniture, lighting, art paintings, designer jewellery, photography and much more.
